Thank you HarperAudio Adult for providing this book for review consideration via NetGalley.

I loved both of the narrators and how they played off of each other. They brought Isabelle and Austin to life. I was able to finish this story quickly because it was interesting and the pace of the story kept me engaged. Dr. Isabelle Mercado has always had a plan and knew exactly what career she wanted. She’s worked hard for years and has followed her plan to the dot. But what happens when you plan your life so well that you forget there’s more to life than a checklist. I loved how Ava highlights the sacrifices women in the medical field and those who are at the top of their game make. I also loved how she captured a man who can handle a woman who is on fire and doesn’t try to extinguish that flame. Brava Ava! Thank you to NetGalley and HarperAudio Adult for providing me a copy of this audiobook.
